Leaden Rodings Rally

Due to the potential amount of people coming to the next rally at Leaden Rodings and there not being a huge amount of space, Phil will have to park people as they arrive and you will not be able to save spaces.

We are also having to say no to awnings/sun canopies. It may be that once you are there there may be enough space, but that will have to be decided on the day.

Motorhomes will be parked on the car park.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope it will not interfere with you still enjoying the rally.

Thank you

The Committee

SPRING HOLIDAY 2025- 24th May - 31st May

I have managed to secure a holiday for 2025 at Dulhorn Farm Holiday Park, Lympsham, Weston-Super-Mare, BS24 0JQ. The total cost for the 7 nights is £184 and this includes everything!

www.dulhornfarmholidaypark.co.uk

Some of you may remember that we have been here before!

The site is a family run caravan park situated between Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. There are play areas and sports fields with football nets, a basketball net and plenty of space for children to run around and play safely. There is also a marquee with various table top games. As this is a working farm there are always some animals to see including the cows and sheep.  In the high seasons they also offer tours of the farm on their tractor and trailer. There are also dog walks onsite and one walk will take you into the nearby village of Lympsham where there is a village shop, pub and post office.

There are lots of things to do in the area including Weston's iconic Grand Pier and Water Adventure Play Park, Burnham-on-Sea, Brean Sands, National Trust Sites, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Uphill Nature Reserve and Boatyard.

Unfortunately it is getting more and more difficult to find places that will accept rallies during half term weeks so we have been asked to pay a deposit ASAP. Therefore, if you would like to secure your pitch please could you forward a deposit payment of £30 to the club by 5TH APRIL 2024. Please use your surname as a reference, followed by 2025.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Day Meet will be held at Great Leigh's Village Hall on the 17th February 2024. Please come along from 1:30pm.

The membership fees will remain at £30 for the year.

For those coming to the meeting, please remember to print off the membership (this can be found under the Membership Form tab) and bring along with you. For those who do not have a printer, there will be copies available on the day should you require one.

For those unable to make the meeting, please make payment via BACS and email Chris Wesbroom  once this have been done, then you will need to post your membership form back to Becky. If you prefer to pay via Cheque, please post this to Chris Wesbroom together with your membership form.

The Club's preferred method of payment is via BACS, which will need to be done BEFORE the Day Meet. Once this is done please inform Chris Wesbroom, alternatively you can make payment on the day in Cash.

The deadline for payment and membership forms is the 17th February 2024, any that are not received by this date will be treated as a lapsed member and an additional joining fee of £6 will be charged.
